Churches

Your church can transform young people’s lives

We believe the church has a critical role to play in bringing about impactful change to the communities it serves. That’s why we deliver the Spear Programme in partnership with local churches, rooted in community and open to all, regardless of faith.

We partner with churches of all denominations. Together, we’ll build a place where young people feel seen, backed and believed in.

Spear began in a church basement in Hammersmith, London. Two decades on, we have centres across the UK and we know the Spear Programme is a proven route to a better life.

Over 70% of those who complete Spear are in work or education a year later.

Why offer the Spear Programme?

You’ll welcome young people facing real barriers to work, right on your doorstep.

The model for Spear is proven, practical and ready to go.

We’ll equip your team every step of the way: training and ongoing support.

You’ll join a national network of like-minded churches making a difference.

Spear is faith in action – it’s not evangelistic, but is powered by lived-out faith.

Your church will become known as a place of hope and opportunity.

What’s more, you may be eligible to apply for seed funding to kick start Spear in your church – contact our team to find out more.
