Spear Programme
What is the Spear Programme?
The Spear Programme is one of the UK’s most effective youth employment programmes.
It starts with mindset. Over four-to-six weeks, we coach young people aged 16-24 to recognise their strengths and see what’s possible, and they gain the practical skills they need to build a career and thrive.
We’ll then stay with them for up to a year as they step into work, training or education – with confidence, purpose and clear direction. It’s no wonder that businesses tell us their Spear hires are some of their best employees.
Spear works
The programme is free and proven to work – it has gold-standard evidence from the government’s Data Lab. Over 70% of those who complete Spear get into work or education and are still there a year later. Find out more below.
